LONDON, KOMPAS.com - England and Arsenal midfielder, Jack Wilshere, having problems at the ankle and will be sidelined at least until next week.
"He is a player who quickly recovered and tough. He may be sidelined for next week. If he is sidelined next week, he will not play against Benfica (friendly match this weekend). That way, he also will not (defend England in a friendly match August 10 to come), "Wenger said.
Wilshere suffered the injury in the sixth minute Emirates Cup match against New York Red Bulls on Sunday (31/07/2011). He was immediately withdrawn and replaced Benfik Afobe.
